	If laid end-to- end, the bread made by the Newton bakery in one year would stretch 18,000 miles -- about three-fourths of the distance around the Earth. If laid end-to-end, the twist ties used by the Newton bakery in one year would reach from Newton, NC to Los Angeles and back--over 5,000 miles. The Newton bakery produced more than 125 million pounds of breads and buns in 2012. That equals the weight of more than 28 NASA Space Shuttles!
