Note! In 2010, Flowers Foods will implement the "Notice and Access" method of proxy material distribution to help reduce the environmental impact of printing these materials, control costs, and improve the efficiency of shareholder communications.
This means that shareholders who have not already indicated their preference to receive printed copies of the annual report and proxy statement will receive a notice of the availability of proxy materials instead of a full-set of printed materials.
The notice will contain instructions for both how to view the annual report and proxy statement on-line via the Internet and how to request printed copies of the annual report and proxy statement, for those shareholders who wish to receive their materials through the mail. Voting instructions also will be included on the notice.
Flowers will post more information about this change in upcoming months. |
