Skillet Cooking: Brush asparagus spears lightly with oil; season with salt and pepper. Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add asparagus; cook 5 minutes or until lightly charred, turning occasionally. Cool slightly; cut each spear crosswise in half. Assemble sandwiches as directed. Cook, covered, in same skillet over low heat 3 to 5 minutes per side or until browned and cheese melts, pressing down with spatula to slightly compress.
