Our Team

We believe the Flowers team is second to none in the baking industry. The talent, knowledge, and dedication of our team members–and our associates and independent distributors–are key to our success.

We treat team members fairly and with respect and we are proud of our record in this area. Appreciating every person on our team has always been important for Flowers, and it is an ongoing focus for our company.

Communication is important. We have an open door policy, and we foster a two–way conversation with our team members through a daily news channel, intranet site, regular meetings, opinion surveys, and a toll–free hotline. We want all our team members to know what is happening. We know that the better we all understand our mission and goals, the more we can achieve.

We are successful because of our team members, and they share in that success. We provide competitive wages and benefits. And, when our company meets annual goals, eligible team members at all levels are rewarded with a bonus for that year.

What We Say
Chuck O’Hara, President, Flowers Bakery of Tucker (GA)“I joined Flowers 25 years ago, working nights on a bakery sweet roll line. My supervisor mentored me and took time to teach me how to do jobs correctly. Over the years, I took on more responsibility and moved into new roles. To me, Flowers Foods is a place with no limits on how far you can advance if you’re willing to listen, learn, and work hard.”
